  As a reviewer below me indicated, this is a church filled with imperfect people. If you come to this church expecting to find God incarnate sitting on the pew next to you, prepare to be disappointed. However, I found that, in spite of the fact that the church was full of sinners like me, I have been able to gain a lot of knowledge of who God is. Feel-good confirmation that there's good inside everyone is NOT something you will find here, instead prepare for some hard-hitting truths about what is wrong in all of us and how to find a solution. I have always felt welcomed here, and in all five of my visits have found people who are happy to see me. The contemporary service may be a little difficult to get used to if you were raised Lutheran like I was, but if you absolutely can't stomach the electric guitar, their two hymn services a week are a nice alternative. Be sure to ask someone about the history of this church if you go- it's a very exciting story.

  From the first day I stepped in the door of Poplar Creek Church, after being invited by a friend to attend a Twenty 30 Church service, I knew I had found my church home! After relocating to Wisconsin, I had been in search of a church family that I could grow with, but not only that. I was searching for a church that was seeking after God with all of their hearts. have found a church family that not only embraces me as a member and church attender, but that also cares about me and my growth in Christ. I have also found a church that cares for members of their community, and around the world. Every day I am so thankful to have been brought to this church, for the amazing community of friends that are becoming my family and for the hunger God has put in my heart to know Him, His Holy Spirit, His Son Jesus and to grow daily. Thank you PCC for being a place I am more than thrilled to call "home"! :)

  I am privileged to call this church home, and to have a loving family. If you are looking to experience God in a real tangible way, please visit Poplar a few weeks. You will not be disappointed!

  I visited this church after having had a horrendous experience at my last home church. The folks there are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and I had no problem fitting right in and getting involved in ministry. It ended up becoming a place where I could heal from my last church experience and move on strong in my faith than before. I've always preferred the more contemporary worship style, so their night service suits me best, but they have mixed-contemporary and hymn services as well so there's something for everyone. They also have a crazy strong youth program and childcare for those that have little ones.

  I love this church! It is a church focused on loving God and loving people, the way the church should be! No one here is perfect, but they are honest about their imperfections and strive to be more like Christ. It's encouraging and inspiring!
